Stroke survivors:
People with hemiparetic stroke due to either brain hemorrahage or infarction
People of age below 65 yr with upper extremity paresis due to stroke
People with cognitive capability to understand and perform experimenters' instructions
People who gave written consent by either themselves or their guardians
Healthy controls:
Healthy people of age below 65 yr
Stroke survivors:
People with an underlying disease that may reduce immune function (e.g. diabetes)
People with a neurological condition except stroke or with an orthopedic condition of upper limb joints
People with insufficient cognitive capability to perform experimenters' instructions
People who are not able to make postures required for the experiment due to contracture or spasticity of upper limb joints
Healthy controls:
People with an underlying disease that may reduce immune function (e.g. diabetes)
Poeple with an orthopedic condition of upper limb joints
People with insufficient cognitive capability to perform experimenters' instructions
