Inclusion Criteria

1)Age :18-60 yr

2)Weight :50 kg to 80 kg

3)American society of Anaesthesia grading: I and II

Exclusion Criteria

1)Patient refusal to take part in study

2)Contraindications to Inter scalene block (severe lung disease, contra lateral diaphragmatic paralysis, Bleeding disorders, local or systemic infections).

3)Allergy to study drugs

4)Bradycardia (PR-60/min)

5)Pre-existing neuropathy

6)Patient who has difficulty in expressing pain score like hearing disability, mentally challenged ,dementia, or psychiatric illness(inability to comprehend the visual analogue scale)

7)Systemic use of corticosteroids for 2 weeks or longer within 6 months of surgery.

8)Pregnant woman
