Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Any adult consenting patient of undergoing distal gastrectomy for benign or malignant indication at Department of surgical gastroenterology, AIIMS Patna will be included in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with Gastroparesis.
  • •Patients with previous gastrectomy, or small bowel surgery precluding construction of either form of anastomosis
  • •Patients with radiological evidence of carcinomatosis
  • •Patients who were admitted for emergency gastrectomy for complications related to the tumor
