Visual outcomes of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in acute central retinal artery occlusio
Completed
- Conditions
- Central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) is an emergency ophthalmic event that has pathophysiology similar to acute cerebral ischemia. It is a rare condition, which incidence is approximately 1-2 in 100,000 people but has subsequent devastating visual outcomes. Visual acuity deteriorates to 20/400 or worse in most patients.CRAO, Central Retinal Artery Occlusion, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
