1. Patient suffering from rheumatoid arthritis over 3 months
2. Disease score 6/10 or more according to ACR (American College of Rheumatology) criteria
3. Both sexes
4. Age 18-65 years
5. Patients already undergoing regular oral or topical analgesics or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs therapy, provided the medications were stopped completely since last two weeks prior to enrolment
6. Patients willing to take part in the study and giving written consent
1. Patients who are too sick for consultation
2. Unable to read patient information sheets and not giving consent to take part
3. Severe degeneration of joints with marked narrowing or deformity, evidenced by imaging or other evidences and requiring surgical intervention
4. Non-ambulant patients
5. Self-reported joint disorders other than rheumatoid arthritis (eg, osteoarthritis, specific arthropathy, systemic lupus erythamatosus, Reiter syndrome, severe axis deviations or instabilities, joint or skin infections, joint prostheses of the lower limbs, etc)
6. Intra-articular injections within 2 wk before study entry
7. Recent significant joint surgery within last 6 months
8. Joint transplantations
9. Diagnosed cases of unstable psychiatric illness or other systemic disease affecting quality of life
10. Currently receiving homeopathic treatment for chronic condition(s)
11. Pregnant and lactating women
12. Self-reported immune-compromised state
13. Substance abuse and/or dependence
