入选标准
- •Systemically healthy patients with the age range of 30 to 60 years
- •Presence of 12 or more scorable teeth
- •Atleast 30% of teeth having pocket dept of 5 mm or more
- •Clinical attachment loss to be moderate to severe
- •Gingival index of 1 or more
- •Plaque index of 1.5 or more
排除标准
- •Subjects with any systemic illness
- •Smokers or tobacco chewers
- •Pregnant or lactating mothers
- •Patients with prosthesis or orthodontic applicance
- •Patients on medications like antibiotics antioxidants
- •History of periodontal treatment in past 3 months prior to study
