Employment: a minimum of one year employment to above described workplaces at the time of study inclusion.
Musculoskeletal pain: the study population should suffer from varying degrees of musculoskeletal pain in the elbow/forearm/hand-area, which will be assessed using the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire (Kreuzfeld et al. 2016).
Status after accident and/or systemic diseases that affect joints or muscles and/or are associated with acute and chronic inflammations.
Musculoskeletal pain that is not localized in the elbow/forearm/hand-area and that is equally or more severe than in the elbow/forearm/hand-area examined in the current study, as assessed by the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire (Kreuzfeld et al., 2016).
Relative and absolute contraindications for repeated blood sampling, such as: fear of blood sampling (relative), taking anticoagulants (absolute), few suitable veins that should only be used for therapeutic interventions (absolute).
