Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •GI score \>\= 1, PPD \>\= 1\-3mm , CAL \>\= 5mm, Radiographic evidence of bone loss, HbA1c levels \>\= 6\.5 % and RBS levels \>\= 200 mg/dl.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Medical disorders such as cardiovascular or renal disease,
  • •2\. Malignancies, multiple sclerosis
  • •3\. Vitamin D deficiency disorders including bone diseases.
  • •4\. Tobacco chewers and smokers.
  • •5\. Pregnant, post\-menopausal and lactating females.
  • •6\. No history of antibiotic intake within 6 weeks.
  • •7\. No history of any periodontal therapy within 6 months.
