1.Children of either sex belonging to age group 4 to 16 years irrespective of sex.
2.Children fulfilling the description of Karshya described in our texts like Sushka-sphik, Sushka-udara, Sushka-griva, Dhamani-jala-darshnam with poor weight gain, lean and thin body as per IAP (grade 1 & grade 2).
1.Age below 4 years and above 16 years.
2.Children having systemic disorders like TB, DM, Cardiac and renal problems.
3.Children having any congenital anomaly.
4.Children suffering from severe malnutrition as per IAP (grade 3 & grade 4).
