Inclusion Criteria

1. ASA grade I & II

2. Age group 18- 65 years

3. Patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery

4. Duration of surgery less than 3 hours

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients who are on steroids or require catecholamine in the intraoperative period.

2. Patients having adreno-cortical dysfunction

3. Patients who have received chemotherapy or radiotherapy within the past four weeks.

4. Allergy to any drugs used in the study

5. Obese patients (body mass index more than 30 kg/m2)
