Inclusion Criteria
Age equal to or over 18 years, ASA I or ASA II, who needed to undergo dental procedures that required local anesthesia and had BP greater than 140 / 90 mmHg using or not anti hypertensives.
Exclusion Criteria
Diabetics, hemophiliacs, alcoholics, pregnant women, individuals with needle phobia, odontophobia, mental disability and using anxiolytics or antiplatelet agents

Name Time Method Success of the bleeding technique in the ear to control arterial hypertension prior to dental treatment, verified through the measurement using an Omron® device at different times before and after dental care.;There were significantly (p <0.0001) more successes than failures, with 76.92% successes and 23.07% failure of bleeding in the ear to control hypertension in the evaluated patients
