Female patients , aged between 18 and 43 years;
Clinical diagnosis of PFPS , unilateral or bilateral;
Inactive or irregularly active , according to the criteria of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire ( IPAQ );
History of anterior knee pain for at least 3 months;
Report increased pain in at least two activities related to PFPS , such as up and down stairs , jump , kneel , stand with the knee flexed for long periods or pain palpation of the medial or lateral facet of the patella;
BMI < 29.9 .
Osteoarthritis in any degree;
Previous surgery in the lumbar spine , hip, knee , ankle or foot;
BMI> 29.9;
Active or very active, according to the IPAQ criteria;
Patellar or quadriceps tendinopathy;
Patellofemoral instability ( PFI );
Traumatic or atraumatic patellar dislocation;
Ligamentar or meniscal lesion diagnosed clinically or by complementary exams;
Sensitivity to the material used .

Name Time Method Reduction of at least 2 points of pain at rest and at exertion, post- intervention, compared to pre -intervention state in the groups receiving the treatment Kinesio Taping method when compared to the control grou , verified by the numerical rating pain scale.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Improvement of at least 40 % of the function and performance, post-intervention, compared to pre -intervention state in the groups receiving the treatment Kinesio Taping method, when compared to the control group , verified by the Kujala questionnaire and the Single Hop -Test<br>
