Inclusion Criteria
Harvesting of the donor kidney in Austria
- Allocation of the donor kidney to Austria
- Transplantation of the kidney
- Donor Age =18 years
- Recipient Age =18 years
- Sufficient biomaterial (pre-implant biopsy and donor urine) to perform the pre-defined analyses
- Written informed consent of recipients for assessment of follow-up

Name Time Method Association of UPCR with histologically assessed chronic lesion in pre-implant kidney graft biopsies (chronic lesion score) Timing: the BX is done in the operating room before the implantion of the graft; method: punch biopsy, paraffin embedding; standard staining

Name Time Method - Association of UPCR with graft function after transplantation including serum creatinine, estimated glomerular filtration rate, UPCR, graft loss and death<br>- the association of UPCR with chronic lesion of each individual compartment (glomerulosclerosis, arteriosclerosis/arteriolosclerosis, interstitial fibrosis and tubular atrophy)
