1. Mild and moderate cases of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome of age group between 18 and 60 yrs with serum vitamin D levels of greater than or equal to 10 ng/ml and with BMI more than 30 Kg/m2.
2. Patients who are willing to give written informed consent to participate in the study.
1. Patients with severe CTS.
2. Patients who are having severe vitamin-D deficiency (less than 10ng/ml) and patients who are already on vitamin D3 supplement since 1 year.
3. Patients with history of existing wrist deformity, wrist disease, trauma, obesity, metabolic diseases such as diabetes, thyroid disorder, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic liver disease, chronic renal disease, congenital or acquired polyneuropathy and hypersensitivity to any of the studydrugs or any contraindication to any drug involved in this study.
4. Pregnancy and lactation.
5. History of previous CTS release surgery or local corticosteroid injections.
6. Patients who are not willing to give consent.
