- •For Case Group,
- •1. Adult â?? onset unilateral upper motor neuron dysarthria, of any etiology, diagnosed by a speech language pathologist
- •2. Diagnosis of the neurological condition confirmed by neurologist
- •3. No premorbid history of any neurological disorders.
- •4. Fluent Kannada speakers within the age range of 20 â?? 80 years
- •5. Minimum of 4 years of basic education.
- •For Control Group,
- •1. Age and gender matched individuals
- •2. Healthy individuals with normal speech.
- •3. Fluent Kannada speakers
- •4. Age range of 20 â?? 80 years
- •5. Minimum of 4 years of basic education.
排除标准
- •For Case Group,
- •1.Participants with associated cognitive deficits / tracheostomy
- •2. Persons with sensory impairment (hearing / vision)
- •3. Participants with report of speech / swallowing / language problems prior to disease onset
- •For Control Group,
- •1. Participants with speech or language difficulty/ hearing loss /visual impairment / cognitive deficits.
