Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Born at term by normal vaginal delivery
- •2\.Birth weight \> 2500 gms
- •3\.Breast fed infants
- •4\.Will be in Vellore for the study period
- •5\.Parents/legal guardians willing for stool collection and blood draws as per protocol
- •6\.Document antibiotic use in the previous month before typhoid vaccination
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Any congenital abnormality
- •2\. If they develop any immunological deficiency
- •3\. Any major known illness that precludes participation in the opinion of the examining physician
