Inclusion Criteria

-Children age 1 to 7 years
-American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class I - II
-Undergoing elective unilateral open herniotomy

Exclusion Criteria

-Refuse regional block
-Allergy to local anesthetics
-Coagulopathy
-Severe liver or renal disease
-Infection at the injection area
-Neurological abnormality or developmental disability eg. attention deficit,
cerebral palsy
