- Brief Summary
The study is being conducted to evaluate the efficacy of repetition of higher potency compared to a repetition of the same potency of the indicated Homoeopathic medication having alternating action on non-improving chronic patients. and to compare the superiority of Centicimal potency against LM Potency of the indicated homoeopathic medication having alternating action on non-improving chronic patients. 17 medicines have shown alternating action (According to Dr. Hahnemann’s different writings; Post Hahnemannian Stalwarts are not included): Arnica montana, Arsenicum album, Belladonna, Bryonia alba, Chamomilla, China officinalis, Digitalis purpura, Hyoscyamusnigre, Ignatiaamara, Magnespolusambu, Manganumaceticum, Menyanthes, Phosphoric acid, Pulsatilla, Rhustoxicodendron, Spigelia, Stannum metallicum. If the prescriber of these medicines (selected on strict Homoeopathic principles) finds that no improvement follows, he should repeat the same medicine in the same potency and the improvement will soon follow. Every patient will be assessed periodically to follow up the reaction of the remedy through clinical assessment as well as relevant investigations. The usual follow up will be done at an interval of 2 weeks. Total 3 follow ups will be done after Screening-Visit. Oral route will be chosen for the administration of medicines. Medicines will be dispensed in liquid form using distilled water only on Day 1 and Assessment using ORIDL Scale will be done on Day 1, 15, 30 and 45.
