Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.ASA I \-II patients posted for elective laparoscopic surgery.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Postoperative admission in an intensive care unit with sedation or ventilator assistance
- •allergy to bupivacaine
- •2\.Cognitive impairment or mental retardation
- •3\.Use of opioids before surgery
- •4\.Progressive degenerative diseases of the CNS
- •5\.Convulsions or chronic therapy with antiepileptic drugs
- •6\.Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- •7\.Allergy to one of the specific drugs under study
- •8\.Acute infection or inflammatory chronic disease
- •9\.Alcohol or drug addiction
