Pregnant women at the Age of 18 until the Age of 40 years that are going to deliver their Baby at the St. Josefs Hospital Giessen, University Hospital Giessen or Asklepios Hospital Lich
Serum 25 OH D > 125 nmol/L, calcium > 2,65 mmol/L
hypercalzemia, primary hyperparathyroidism, pre-pregnancy thyroid disease, sarcoidosis, tuberculosis and other diseases of the granula, kidney disease, fat malabsorption, Coeliac disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, vitamin D-receptor defect, anticonvulsant therapy, glucocorticoid intake, heparin therapy to prevent thrombophilia

Name Time Method Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D level in the first, second and third trimester of pregnancy and in cord blood
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Maternal serum 1,25(OH)2D3, parathyroid hormone, alkaline phosphatase and calcium level in the second and third trimester. Pre-pregnancy BMI, physical activity, sunlight exposure, skin pigmentation.<br>Gestationals diabetes, pre-eclampsia, bacterial vaginosis and gestational age. Length of the femur in the second and third trimester of pregnancy, birth weight and high, APGAR score after 1, 5 and 10 minutes, reason for neonatal care, if necessary.
