1. Infraumbilical surgeries like URS, TURP, bladder surgeries, inguinal hernia, hydrocele,
hemorrhoidectomy, lower limb surgeries like amputation, lower limb debridement etc
2. ASA grade 1 and 2
1. ASA grade 3 and 4
2. Patients refusing spinal anaesthesia
3. Allergic to amide local anaesthetics
4. Coagulopathy
5. Neuromuscular disease
6. Local infection at the site of proposed spinal puncture
7. Morbidly obese( >130kgs)
8. Pregnant women
9. Spine deformities
