1. Principal diagnosis of Generalized Anxiety Disorder according to DSM-V diagnostic criteria
2.Patients 18-60 years of age irrespective of sex and religion
3.Agree to participate in the study and have filled out a written consent form.
1.IPD Patients
2.COPD patients.
3.Individuals who lack a capacity to consent, or whose capacity to provide consent is questionable to the investigator
4.Diagnosed cases of suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder etc.
5.Current illicit drug use
6.Excessive regular use of alcohol.
7.Patients on psychotropic medication use
8.Current participation in psychotherapy or cognitive behavioral therapy
9.Pregnancy
10.Shift work schedule
11.Active dieting for weight loss
12.Arthritis requiring daily meds and unable to abstain from meds for duration of study period
