Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1. Principal diagnosis of Generalized Anxiety Disorder according to DSM-V diagnostic criteria
- •2.Patients 18-60 years of age irrespective of sex and religion
- •3.Agree to participate in the study and have filled out a written consent form.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1.IPD Patients
- •2.COPD patients.
- •3.Individuals who lack a capacity to consent, or whose capacity to provide consent is questionable to the investigator
- •4.Diagnosed cases of suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder etc.
- •5.Current illicit drug use
- •6.Excessive regular use of alcohol.
- •7.Patients on psychotropic medication use
- •8.Current participation in psychotherapy or cognitive behavioral therapy
- •9.Pregnancy
- •10.Shift work schedule
- •11.Active dieting for weight loss
- •12.Arthritis requiring daily meds and unable to abstain from meds for duration of study period
