1. The patents with low (10%) and intermediate (10-19%) risk in Framingham score (estimation of 10 years CVD risk) will be included in the study.
2. Patients of all genders, different religions and socio-economic groups.
3. Patients of age group 20-60 years.
4. Patients with serum LDL levels between 100-200 mg/dl.
5. Patients willing to give written consent for participating in the study.
1. Patients with high risk (= 20%) in Framingham Risk score.
2. Patients taking statin therapy.
3. Patients having systemic illness, malignancy, immuno-compromised state, psychiatric illness.
4. Patients who are pregnant, lactating, or taking oral contraceptive pills or hormonal therapy.
5. Patients taking anti-diabetic and/or anti-hypertensive medicines.
6. Patients unwilling to take part or give consent for the study.
