Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Age 20 or older at the time consent is obtained
  • 2\) Male or female resident in Japan
  • 3\) Inpatient or outpatient: outpatient
  • 4\) Patients who meet the criteria for chronic kidney disease
  • 5\) Urine protein level of 1 g/gCre or more for two consecutive urine tests at any time in an outpatient setting.
  • 6\) Independent in activities of daily living (ADL) (including walking with a cane)
  • 7\) Patients who can give written consent for participation of their own free will
  • 8\) Patients who understand and can perform the training on their own.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\) Patients who cannot give their consent
  • 2\) Patients on dialysis or renal transplant patients
  • 3\) Patients with eGFR (Cre) less than 8 or requiring dialysis induction within 3 months
  • 4\) Medically unstable patients (uncontrolled hypertension (blood pressure \> 180/100 mmHg), congestive heart failure, active myocarditis/pericarditis, arrhythmia, etc.)
  • 5\) Patients with impaired mobility due to mental and physical problems
  • 6\) Patients who have participated in a structured exercise program within the past 6 months
  • 7\) Patients taking steroids
  • 8\) Patients who are deemed unsuitable as subjects by the principal investigator (subinvestigator)
