Inclusion Criteria
Normal pelvis
Nulliparality
Age 18-40 years
Term pregnancy
Singleton pregnancy
No complication and contraindication of vaginal delivery
Dilatation up to 2 cm
Gestational age of at least 40 weeks
Exclusion Criteria
History of repeating cesarean delivery or previous surgery on the uterus
Vaginal bleeding
Placenta decolment
Placenta Previa
Intrauterine growth retardation
Detection of fetal distress through the control of fetal heart sounds
3 cm dilatation and more
Long latent phase
Not satisfied to enter the study
