willingness to cooperate; older than eighteen years; diagnosis of insomnia based on diagnostic criteria of DSM-5; Score higher than five based on PSQI questionnaire(PSQI: Score> 5 ). Exclusion criteria: pregnancy and lactation; severe mental illness( such as: Severe depression; psychosis; severe anxiety disorders) ; severe physical illnesses( such as heart; liver; kidney; and respiratory disease; cancer;dementia); Having physical illness that directly or indirectly(Pain or medicine) caused Insomnia.; alcohol and Substance abuse;-taking medicine that affect on the sleep process of patient during the two weeks ago; Shift working patient; restless Leg Syndrome; occuring complications and improper take of drug during the study; history of allergy to Lemon verbena (lippia Citriodora).
