Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1) First time ischemic stroke
- •2) Age 40-65 years
- •3) Stroke interval before study onset 4-8 weeks
- •4) Upper limb paresis with no or only slight volitional activity of the wrist and finder extension
- •5)Initial upper limb Fugal-meyar assessment score(FMA) <18 (0-66)
- •6) Able to give written informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •1) included other neurological or orthopedic arm impairments,
- •2) Active cancer, severe obstructive pulmonary disease, shoulder pain refractory to standard therapy, and swollen hand sufficient to prevent closing of the fist
- •3) Any disorder or disease that may hinder collection of data
