•Volunteers with no previous training in Kriya Yoga
•Volunteers not practicing any meditation/relaxation techniques for 1 month prior to the study.
•Volunteers who reside anywhere in Maharashtra.
•Volunteers from the 18-60 years age group, both genders
•Women of child-bearing potential (WOCBP) must be using an adequate method of contraception to avoid pregnancy throughout the study.
•Women with a positive pregnancy test on enrollment or 48 hours prior to study intervention.
•Women of child-bearing potential who are unwilling or unable to use an acceptable method to avoid pregnancy for the entire study period.
•Volunteers who have a medical history of Ischemic Heart Disease(IHD), Valvular Heart Disease (VHD), Pacemakers, respiratory disorders, seizure disorders.
•Volunteers currently on drugs that influence cardiac rhythm (for example: beta blockers)
•Volunteers suffering from sleep related disorders.
•Volunteers with a history of Bipolar disorder (rapid breathing is known to precipitate mania)
•Volunteers suffering from moderate to severe untreated depression (having score of 11 or more for Anxiety or Depression when measured with Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale)
•Volunteers with a history of vertigo.
•Volunteers currently on Antipsychotic drugs/ Antidepressant drugs
