入排标准

入选标准

  • 1. Healthy newborns without any complications born through uncomplicated vaginal deliveries in the study facility
  • 2. Weighing = 2500 grams at birth (as per study scale)
  • 3. Residing within catchment area around the study facility
  • 4. Non-complicated normal vaginal singleton births
  • Willing to stay in the study facility for at least 5. 48 hours in facility post-delivery and continue recommended practices at home post-discharge
  • 6. Exhibit no complications that may hinder their ability to provide prolonged KMC, and require only routine maternity care
  • 7. Mothers or other caregivers available and willing to provide the intervention

排除标准

  • 1. Unable to breathe spontaneously within the first hour after birth
  • 2. Respiratory distress
  • 3. Severe Jaundice
  • 4. Major congenital malformations (e.g., anencephaly, congenital heart disease, gastroschisis, hydrocephaly, multiple malformations, omphalocele, tracheoesophageal fistula, abdominal detention. etc.) that interfere with the intervention or require immediate medical care
  • 5. Mothers with multiple births
  • 6. Have undergone Caesarean section or delivery with complications
  • 7. Postpartum complications requiring additional monitoring and care supervision
  • 8. Written informed consent from mother or caregivers could not be obtained within 4 (four) hours of birth
