Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients from age of 29 days to 14 yrs.
2. Stage 1 of AKI based on KDIGO Staging.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with AKI stage 2 or more.
2. Patients with established End stage renal disease.
3. Patients with hypovolemia (if hypovolemia persists even after giving intravenous fluid
boluses).
4. Patients with hospital stay < 72 hrs.
5. Patients with pre-existing congenital renal abnormalities.
6. Patients with history of allergy to furosemide.
