Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age group between 20\-60years
- •2\. Patients in good systemic health with no contraindication to periodontal surgery
- •3\. Patients having a band of supragingival and/or subgingival calculus on lingual side of mandibular incisors.
- •4\. Patients who had not received any type of periodontal therapy for the past 6 months
- •5\. Patients not taking any immuno\-suppressive drugs like corticosteroids
- •6\. Involved teeth to be vital and asymptomatic
- •7\. Patients with absence of any bleeding disorders
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients suffering from any systemic diseases or with compromised immune system.
- •2\. Patients with a known history of drug allergy
- •3\. Patients taking any drug known to cause gingival enlargement.
- •4\. Pregnant and/or lactating mothers.
- •5\. Endodontically treated teeth.
- •6\. Patient on anticoagulant therapy.
