Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Age group between 20\-60years
  • •2\. Patients in good systemic health with no contraindication to periodontal surgery
  • •3\. Patients having a band of supragingival and/or subgingival calculus on lingual side of mandibular incisors.
  • •4\. Patients who had not received any type of periodontal therapy for the past 6 months
  • •5\. Patients not taking any immuno\-suppressive drugs like corticosteroids
  • •6\. Involved teeth to be vital and asymptomatic
  • •7\. Patients with absence of any bleeding disorders

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients suffering from any systemic diseases or with compromised immune system.
  • •2\. Patients with a known history of drug allergy
  • •3\. Patients taking any drug known to cause gingival enlargement.
  • •4\. Pregnant and/or lactating mothers.
  • •5\. Endodontically treated teeth.
  • •6\. Patient on anticoagulant therapy.
