Patients with idiopathic large FTMH who had undergone pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) at KKU Eye Center, Srinagarind hospital, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, Thailand between January 2008 and December 2017
(1) refractive error >3 diopters
(2) glaucoma
(3) macular scar
(4) media opacity that cause poor OCT image quality
(5) macular hole-induced retinal detachment
(6) history of traumatic eye or head injury
(7) previous vitreoretinal disorder
(8) previous vitreoretinal surgery
