Brief Summary

These findings have proven that IBDI has improved breastfeeding knowledge, attitude, self-efficacy, and intention among pregnant women with GDM. The BFDEP has effectively improved the length of EBF, and breastfeeding intensity of women with GDM in the IBDI group. It has been shown that the length of EBF is significantly negatively related to FBG, 2HPP, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR, HBA1c, and body measurements 6 months after giving birth in the IBDI group.
