COPD confirmed cases with acute exacerbation as confirmed by Anthonisen criteria
Exclusion Criteria
Those COPD patients with significant respiratory co-morbidities like bronchiectasis, lung malignancy, lung abscess, empyema, pleural effusions, active tuberculosis
