Inclusion Criteria
Children and adolescents from the 29th day of life to the age of 18 years with a status epilepticus, with need for admission to a pediatric critical care unit of at least 4 hours.
Status epilepticus defined as
(a) continuous clinical and/or electroencephalographic seizure activity with or without loss of consciousness of 5 minutes duration. or
(b) a repeated occurrence of epileptic seizures without any complete recurrence of consciousness in the meantime

Description of seizure semiology, duration of the seizure and the underlying etiology (triggering event, associated underlying diseases and description of possible risk groups) <br>3.
