Inclusion Criteria
Next of Kin of Patients dying in ED within 12hrs of their arrival
Death declared by an emergency physician
Next of kin of patient is present
Age of kin > 18yrs
Tamil speaking next of kin
Exclusion Criteria
Age of non-survivor less than 12 years
Next of kin who give DNR consent for their ward
Patient was an organ donor
Pregnancy deaths
Failure to adhere to three-pronged communication strategy
