Participants who needs extraction and replacement of single rooted teeth for the following reasons :
1. Horizontal or Vertical fracture
2. Destructive caries
3. Internal resorption
4. Endodontically failed tooth.
1. Local contraindications- CBCT showing no buccal bone or large periapical lesion
2. General contraindications to implant surgery, irradiation, chemotherapy, or immunosuppressive therapy over the past 5 years, poor oral hygiene and motivation, active periodontitis, uncontrolled diabetes, pregnancy or lactation, substance abusers, smokers , psychiatric problems or unrealistic expectations, acute infection in the area intended for implant placement, positive to HIV and hepatitis B and C, autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematous, scleroderma, Sjogren syndrome, and dermatomyositis / polymyositis, treated or under treatment with intravenous amino bisphosphonates.
3. Sites with moderate or severe periodontal disease and/ or sites exhibiting facial clinical attachment loss greater than 3mm.
4. Sites with tooth under acute infection and/or presence of a fistula and tooth with a grade 2 mobility or more.
5. During the surgical procedure, if the portion of root that will be used for protection presents mobility.
