Inclusion Criteria
.. Thai nationality and male at birth.
.. Aged 18 to 24 years.
.. Living in Bangkok or its surrounding vicinities (Partum Thani, Samut Prakarn and Nonthaburi provinces).
.. History of anal intercourse in the past 6 months.
.. HIV-negative by rapid testing.
.. Estimated creatinine clearance greater than or equal to 60 mL/min.
.. Able to participate in the study for 12 months total and with in-person clinic visits once every 6 months.
.. Able to participate in the home-based testing and remote monitoring visits at Month-1 Month-3 and Month-9.
Exclusion Criteria
Self-report of allergy to emtricitabine or tenofovir.
