Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients of Rectal Cancer that require Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy
  • •T3/T4 Tumours
  • •T1/T2 with node involvement
  • •Mesorectal Fascia involvement
  • •2\.Perfomance score 0\-2 ECOG
  • •3\.Provides a voluntry informed consent to participate in the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Metastatic disease at presentation.
  • •2\. history of radiotherapy for rectal cancers or other cancers of the pelvic region.
  • •3\.Patients receiving short course RT.
  • •4\.Relative contraindications to pelvic radiotherapy like presence of connective tissue disorders or irritable bowel syndrome/inflammatory bowel disease.
  • •5\. Patients not having adequate pre radiotherapy staging assessment like MRI.
  • •6\. Unfit or contraindicated to receive concurrent systemic chemotherapy due to presence of comorbidities, known allergy, etc.
