Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients of Rectal Cancer that require Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy
- •T3/T4 Tumours
- •T1/T2 with node involvement
- •Mesorectal Fascia involvement
- •2\.Perfomance score 0\-2 ECOG
- •3\.Provides a voluntry informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Metastatic disease at presentation.
- •2\. history of radiotherapy for rectal cancers or other cancers of the pelvic region.
- •3\.Patients receiving short course RT.
- •4\.Relative contraindications to pelvic radiotherapy like presence of connective tissue disorders or irritable bowel syndrome/inflammatory bowel disease.
- •5\. Patients not having adequate pre radiotherapy staging assessment like MRI.
- •6\. Unfit or contraindicated to receive concurrent systemic chemotherapy due to presence of comorbidities, known allergy, etc.
