•Undergoing cardiac surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass

Exclusion Criteria

•1\. Pre\-existing kidney disease
•2\. Pre\-operative mechanical ventilation
•3\. Pre\-operative inotrope requirement
•4\. Deep hypothermic circulatory arrest
•5\. Post\-operative mechanical circulatory support
•6\. Post\-operative reexploration
•7\. Mortality within 24 hours
