Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Adult patients aged 18 \- 65 years.
  • •2\.ASA grade I to grade III
  • •3\.Patients posted for elective craniotomy

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients with ASA grade IV or more
  • •2\. Patients with Glasgow coma score(GCS) less than 13
  • •3\. Patients allergic to local anaesthetic agents
  • •4\. Patients scheduled for aneurysm clipping surgery.
  • •5\. Patients with history of opioid use.
  • •6\. Patients unable to communicate and comprehend NRS scale.
  • •7\. Patients planned for elective post operative ventilatory support.
  • •8\. Any patient requiring re\-intubation within first 24 hours will also be excluded.
