Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Good German language skills
  • •2\. The patient is undergoing treatment for focal epilepsy at the University Hospital Freiburg
  • •3\. At least 50% of the study patients have a form of epilepsy that originates in the limbic system
  • •4\. The patient was diagnosed with epilepsy over two years ago

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Lack of informed consent
  • •2\. Pre\-existing psychiatric condition that is not associated with the patient’s epilepsy
  • •3\. IQ \< 70
  • •4\. Lack of ability for self\-introspection
