1) Serum Lipid profile
a)S. Cholesterol > 200 mg/dL
b)S. Triglycerides > 150 mg/dL
c)LDL > 130 mg/dL
d) HDL < 40 mg/dL in males
< 50 mg/dL in females
e) VLDL > 30 mg/dL
2)Clinical signs and symptoms as described in classical texts.
? Patients suffering from diseases like diabetes, nephrotic syndrome, hypothyroidism, jaundice, hepatitis, chronic infections and other serious diseases.
? Drug induced obesity, obesity after undergoing surgical procedures, known cases of endocrinal disorders.
? Patients not willing for the clinical trial.
Patients below 18 years and above 70 years of age.Pregnant ladies and lactating mothers.
Any other condition which the principal investigator thinks may jeopardize the study.
