i)Having sign and symptoms of Sandhivata (Osteoarthritis) as given below:
a.Sandhi Shula (pain in the joint)
b.Sandhi Shotha (Swelling in the joints )
c.Sandhigraha (Morning Stiffness)
d.Akunchana Prasaranayoh Vedana (Pain during Flexion and extension)
e.Sparsha Asahyata (Tenderness)
f.Sandhisphutana (Cracking of the joints)
g.Crepitus in the joint.
ii)Diagnostic Findings:
a.Radiologic Osteophytes (If present)
iii)Chronicity less than or equal to 5 years.
i)Patients below 30 and above 70 years of age.
ii)Cases which require surgical intervention will be excluded.
iii)Patient, suffering from any chronic debilitating disease like T.B., D.M., Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, Varicose veins, Asthma & other chronic problems etc. and having other serious pathology.
iv)Pregnant lady and lactating mother.
