Inclusion Criteria
(1) Aged at least 18 years old;
(2) Suspected sepsis accounting to sepsis 3.0(infection and the score of sepsis = 2).
Exclusion Criteria
(1) A confirmed pregnancy or urine pregnancy test is positive;
(2) ICU length of stay < 24 hours;
(3) The use of immunosuppressant and immunostimulants like azathioprine and thymosin in the past 3 months;
(4) Suffer from immunodeficiency disease such as Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.
