入排标准
入选标准
- •Patients with acute respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation for at least three days or more admitted in an intensive care unit (ICU) of a tertiary care teaching hospital (AIIMS, New Delhi)
- •Patients who have been receiving mechanical ventilation for less than 12 hours before recruitment will be included in this study
排除标准
- •1.Patients suffering from neuromuscular diseases
- •2.Use of neuromuscular blockade to facilitate mechanical ventilation
- •3.BMI less than 18.5kg/m2
- •4.Obesity (BMI more than 30kg/m2)
- •5.Severe ARDS (as per Berlin definition)
- •6.Previous chest wall surgery
- •7.Pregnancy
- •8.History of mechanical ventilation in the past 3 months
