Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Admitted patients with a diagnosis of acute neuromuscular disease with anticipated respiratory muscle involvement
Exclusion Criteria
- •1.Refusal of consent
- •2.Patients with cardiac, renal, or liver failure
- •3.Radiological uni- or bi-lateral diaphragmatic paralysis
- •4.Poor ultrasound images
- •5.Severe sepsis at admission (Septic shock, multiorgan dysfunction syndrome)
