1. All adult patients above 40 years of age undergoing elective major non-cardiac surgery under general and regional anaesthesia.
2. American society of Anesthesiologist physical health status 2 and 3.
1.Patient with significant cardiac disease(low threshold angina, severe aortic stenosis).
2.Patient with severe pulmonary disease restricting their mobility.
3.Patient having condition that prevents mobilisation for upto 6 minute.
4.Patient with gross neuromuscular skeletal disease.
5 Pregnancy.
