Inclusion Criteria

People with generalized and partial epilepsy, on use of antiepileptic drugs (AED)

Age 18-65 yrs

Able to give full informed consent

Able to exercise at least three times a week, or would do so, were they not hindered by their epilepsy

Must be owning a Smartphone with ability to install Pedometer app (both iOS and Android versions available)

Seizure frequency : not more than four seizures a month

Baseline normal comprehension

Exclusion Criteria

Any medical problem that would preclude participation in a physical exercise program

Nonepileptic or psychogenic seizures

Pregnancy

Unable to give consent

Patients having severe mental retardation

Patient with significant non- neurological co-morbidities like chronic cardiac, renal and other systemic diseases that prevent physical activity
