Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •People with generalized and partial epilepsy, on use of antiepileptic drugs (AED)
- •Age 18\-65 yrs
- •Able to give full informed consent
- •Able to exercise at least three times a week, or would do so, were they not hindered by their epilepsy
- •Must be owning a Smartphone with ability to install Pedometer app (both iOS and Android versions available)
- •Seizure frequency : not more than four seizures a month
- •Baseline normal comprehension
Exclusion Criteria
- •Any medical problem that would preclude participation in a physical exercise program
- •Nonepileptic or psychogenic seizures
- •Unable to give consent
- •Patients having severe mental retardation
- •Patient with significant non\- neurological co\-morbidities like chronic cardiac, renal and other systemic diseases that prevent physical activity
