Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •CI users: measurable residual hearing in the contralateral ear with thresholds
- •of 100 dB HL or better at 125, 250 and 500 Hz
- •Normal\-hearing group: not more than 40 dB loss across frequencies
Exclusion Criteria
- •CI users and normal\-hearing subjects should have no disorders other than a
- •hearing impairment that could affect the study results, such as psychiatric
- •disorders or physical disorders that would limit their ability to undergo
- •testing (e.g., movement disorders or blindness).
- •Normal\-hearing subjects will be excluded if hearing thresholds are too high.
